Imam Zain-ul-Abidin (as) reported that Imam Al-Husain (as) said: “Umar Ibnu l-Khattab came before the Prophet (s.) and said: ﴾You keep saying to Ali, son of Abu Talib: “You have a position with me, that Aaron has with Moses.” Whereas God mentioned Aaron in the Qur’an, but He did not mention Ali.﴿ Hereupon he said: O crude one, O Bedouin, do you not hear Him saying: ﴾ This is the path of Ali (Siratu Aliyyin), which is straight?﴿” (15:41)
